This blog could have existed sooner. I couldn't come up with a name before I left home, so I kind of shoved it aside and assumed I'd get back to it in time. Hah. I'm posting this two weeks later in a different country on the bed I'm going to be sleeping in for most of the next 6 months with the heater on full crank because I seriously overestimated my body's ability to produce and retain body heat. When I left NorCal, it was a balmy seventy-something with clear skies, and currently in Bristol it's 39 degrees and overcast. Everyone not from California is like, "This is nice." Meanwhile, I have a thermal, flannel, heat tech leggings, camping socks, boots, and a huge rain jacket on. What have I done?
